My daughter loved this dress! It is very comfortable and you can add stones/ crystals to dress it up for a competition. It does leave a little glitter around, but the same can be said for most clothing and accessories that have glitter added to them. It is made very well and washes well, the glitter doesn't come off in the wash. It does fit small, but all Mondor dresses fit 1 size smaller than street clothing size so that was no surprise.

My daughter loved it, but thank heavens I ordered a size larger than she normally wears. I ordered a 8-10 and it fits her like a glove...no grow room, good thing it stretches. Also, it leaves a glitter trail wherever she goes. I don't know how long it will stay "sparkly".

A year or so ago my husband purchased this brand of ice skating clothing in the form of a skating skirt. Being a man and not understanding stretch type material he purchased something several sizes too large. Even now the skirt falls down all the time. But the skirt has held up to weekly washes and continues to look great . So I was looking for this particular brand in the form of an ice skating dress - and one in her size. I was not able to purchase it from Amazon, as they were all out and did not have her size anyway. But I got it from the same vendor, it only cost a little more because they have higher shipping costs. It arrived very quickly and it is absolutly perfect. I did order one size up - 6x-7 versus a 5-6 (which is what she normally would wear). I wanted an ice skating dress versus skating pants and jacket because my daughter is a girly girl. She wants to be pretty on the ice, and because all of my daughters pants fall down on her, even ones that are a size too small and difficult to button. As far as I can tell, this dress is a great buy - it is much cheaper than other brands of ice skating dresses. Every other dress I found and considered was about two to three times as much. . The dress can be dazzled up for a show, but we got it for her lessons. The color is perfect, and a nice bonus - it comes with a hair wrap to pull the hair out of their face when they are working on the spins and twirls little girls love to do.
