I got them one size larger than my normal footwear because I feared my feet would get cold. But I probably would've been fine with my true size, since they are REALLY warm. The inner lining is soft and comfy, the blades seems sharp enough, but I'm really no expert on the matter. The boots are high enough to offer plenty of ankle support. All in all, I'm very pleased with my new skates.
